Arden supports pupils to achieve outside the classroom. During their
time here, they are encouraged to develop new interests in areas
such as sports and the arts, and to make use of the exceptional
facilities we offer. We have a track record of success in supporting
children to gain externally accredited awards in these areas.
At Arden we encourage every pupil to enrich their lives through the
development of freshly acquired skills and hobbies.
A Sense of Achievement
Achievement at school is the best possible grounding for success
in life. We aim to set children on a path to personal fulfilment in
adulthood by helping them to maximise their full potential.
So how do such worthy aims as these translate into everyday life at
Arden? Some might say that the demands of the National
Curriculum give little time for fostering individual development, but
this is not our experience. Indeed, on the contrary, at Arden we
believe that personal encouragement and motivation are the key to
getting the most out of every pupil; in and out of lessons.
The vast majority of Arden pupils complete Year 11 having exceeded
the national measure of five GCSE’s at A*-C including English and
Maths. We pride ourselves on the number of pupils who achieve a
GCSE in one of the foreign languages in fact many pupils achieve
GCSE‘s in two languages.
