Transfer of Undertakings and Protection of Employment
(TUPE)
Northern Security have a wealth of experience in the
TUPE process. Through our experience in this area, we have
discovered that service failures have generally been a
combination of inadequate security personnel and ineffective
managerial support. Frequently a customer will have built a
rapport with a previous supplier’s security staff, or members of
their own in-house team. These people may have risen to
become trusted, well liked members of the site team. Under
TUPE the employment of all incumbent security personnel is
protected; ensuring well liked, friendly faces remain on the job.
Northern Security apply the same principles for recruitment when
we acquire a new client. The Company use transition planning
to identify whether your existing security personnel are suited to
the assignment. If it is agreed they are not, we will replace them
with the personnel you require and deserve... Our aim is to
harmonise the workforce - retaining and enhancing the
knowledge and experience of the incumbent security team.
